With its Trade Fair Bonus, BEDA provides assistance in gathering initial experience in new markets and the gradual establishment and expansion of trade relationships. A first or second visit to a foreign trade fair or an exhibition in Switzerland with major foreign participation can be supported with a contribution of 50% to the costs incurred, subject to a maximum of CHF 10,000.

Depending on the target country, it may also be possible to utilise federal government instruments, such as the Export Risk Guarantee or the "Swiss Business Hubs".
